They call all the time and when a guy answers they hang up. They know my last name is Williams, and ask for Mrs. Williams, but I am not married and when I tell them that they just hang up.

Claimed to be somebody dealing with a civil suit in Will County Illinois. I do reside in this specific county but owe nothing and my name was the name asked for. They proceeded to call my parents at their home in another county. I am so sick and tired of this gutless pieces of garbage trying to collect on the distant past. My debts are paid and current. I had a bad past but it has already fallen off of my credit reports which I check often. When I called the 888 number I got a woman asking me where she can direct my call. I didn't know so she asked me a case number which I didn't have. When is the government going to put an end to these people? I am not against debt collection if it's within the original and legal time frame at all. But when will somebody in the political arena realize that our names and credit are being traded around from one bad collector to the next like trading cards?

The company has been called "Portfolio Recovery Services", but that is likely not the only name they go by. They are based in Norfolk, VA. Some people who have asked them to stop calling only get calls from a different phone number. These calls occur in some cases up to two or three times a day.

This is a serbian run long distance outfit.These cetnik scvm have harassed me literally hundreds of times.They will not speak english but will hang up on you.I've tried blocking the number but it wont work because they are ghosting that number. RECEVIED 1 VOICE MAIL/CALL AT WORK TODAY. AND ANOTHER 4 CALLS AND 1 VOICE MAIL ON MY CELL PHONE ALL WITHIN MINUTES OF EACH OTHER. THIS WILLIAM SMITH PERSON SAYS THERE IS A CASE AGAINST ME AND THAT I NEED TO RETAIN AN ATTORNEY AND CAN ONLY WISH ME LUCK. YOU CAN TELL HE IS READING FROM A SCRIPT AND YOU CAN HEAR OTHER PEOPLE IN THE BACK ROUND. THIS IS A SCAM, ONCE YOU TELL THEM NOT TO CALL AND INFORM THEM THAT YOU KNOW THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY, THEY WILL STOP CALLING - WELL AT LEAST FOR A WHILE.

SMS recieved said they were confirnming an appointment forbut I have never asked for an appointment or contacted austar. Have called me twice since and left messages. This is harrassment.

Calls and hangs up. Calls and it's a recording with a callback number. Never answer when I call back, or it's a recording saying "Please hole while I connect you to a representative. I'm sorry there are no representatives available. Please call back between the hours of 8am and 9pm Monday through Friday." I just tried and it's 2:30 Thursday. And according to all my research they are in my time zone. They call close to 3 times a week. This is harassment.
